So, you probably noticed I finally got around to uploading pictures from my trip. Believe it or not, that's a small fraction of the 450-ish I ended up with. The vacation itself was awesome and amazing; I particularly had fun getting to know my 18-month-old cousin, who I hadn't met before. I got back a couple weeks ago, and have since been spending a lot of time at the barn, reading, and NOT practicing trumpet (that's going to hurt later). I've also started amassing the things I'll need to start college in 37 days... I should probably make a comprehensive list of everything I'm going to need, as I keep remembering additional odds and ends. The

I graduated from high school last night, a bittersweet experience. I'll be going to Carleton College in the fall, and then probably be working on all my breaks, so this is my last true summer break. I'll be in Atlanta this weekend for the National Quiz Bowl Tournament, our last tournament together as a team before we all go to college, then I'll be flying to Tallahassee to spend a week at the beach with my family. Then I'm home for three weeks until I go to England to visit my grandparents, which will be especially fun since it's been almost 2 years since I've been there. So, I got into Sewanee, and am a Semifinalist for their Merit Scholarship program. Now I know I'm going to college! :)
