I finally managed to upload some pictures form England- for some reason my computer was being dumb about letting me do that. I also drew a bit while I was there, so those are up, too.

I just got back from a riding lesson, which was lots of fun. We were jumping, and India was being good for the most part. Unfortunately my trumpet teacher is playing a gig today so I couldn't have a lesson. On the plus side, that means I'll be able to watch the Travers Stakes.

School's gotten off to a pretty good start, even though my schedule didn't work out like
I'd hoped. I ended up being put in Music History instead of Latin IV, which means at worst I get 50 minutes of listening to music at the end of each day. My other classes are all awesome, especially AP US and AP Physics. In Wind Ensemble we sight-read the Star Wars theme, and the Fanfare by Ricard Strauss that opens 2001: A Space Odyssey. The conductor's theory is that the modern teenager will come to a classical concert if we're playing stuff they know. We'll see how that works.In Brass Quartet, we're actually a quintet now, since we have a extra trumpet player.
